Saving Grace Enterprises, Inc. is a privately held, family owned and operated company, founded in 2001 to meet the need of others who are wishing to create and leave a lasting legacy for their future, and their future’s future. I’ve spent years, frustrated, trying to find the perfect gifts for loved ones, the perfect mementos for special occasions, gift baskets for friends, and the perfect memorials for families that have lost a loved one.
Throughout those years, I found myself quite disappointed by the products available. Many were low quality and mass produced, and didn’t convey my feelings about the sacredness and special ness of my loved ones. I didn’t want to give my family and friends something that would be tossed aside or not used. I didn’t want to give them something that reminded me of a free toy inside one of my children’s kids meal at a fast food restaurant. I wanted to give them something that was extraordinary. Something that was clearly of a higher quality, something that carried a deeper meaning - something that conveyed was carefully made, that carried the feeling of simple elegance.
Typically, after searching high and low for the perfect gift, I would spend hours working with my hands, using techniques from ages ago - something personal, something meaningful - to create something for my loved ones that spoke to their worth, their meaning to me as a family member, friend, or co-worked, their meaning as an extraordinary person.
It was that need that compelled me to immerse myself in these techniques, developing these techniques to an art. And, that development, along with the products that emerged, caused my friends and family to begin asking for these same products - for their friends, employees, and co-workers. Those friends, employees, and co-workers, in turn, came to me, expressing their deep gratitude and awe over their gifts, and wanting to give those to their loved ones. And, so it grew.
Saving Grace Enterprises’s first specialty company, FaithMinders, was created at about the same time. FaithMinders started as an brick and mortar (offline) business, and was finally brought online in 2004. FaithMinders carried a wonderful selection of fine Christian jewelry, prayer tools, and handcrafted, hand bound leather journals and grew into two different companies.
Our very popular custom leather journals line grew and expanded, and, as a result, Legacy Journals was created as another specialty store member of Saving Grace Enterprises family of companies. Legacy Journals is different than many companies that you find. These leather journals, albums, scrapbooks, and books are not only individually handcrafted, but, they are also hand carved with any picture that you would like to see - from a rendering of your favorite wedding photo, to a masterfully rendered picture of your brand new baby - I am only limited by imagination.
The jewelry line that started on FaithMinders has grown and changed to focus on custom fine gemstone silver (and gold) jewelry. This side of our business continues to be fulfilling for us and very much in demand. We have not offered our custom designed fine jewelry online since it grew out of FaithMinders’ original line, but, we are working on offering it online - on its own website - as some point in the future.
My heart still remains in the same place it was many years ago - I feel very strongly about providing only the best to you, and my loved ones. And, Saving Grace Enterprises represents my heart - my strong feeling that every single person is unique and extraordinary. And, as such, you deserve more than a cookie cutter, mass produced, mediocre (or less than mediocre) product - either as a gift for yourself or a gift for your friends, family, co-workers, employees, or loved ones.
